The belief of Enseña Perú (= teach Peru) is that a good teacher makes the difference. The idea is to recruit the best students from the best Peruvian universities and send them for 2 years to teach in the most challenging regions of the country.
 
Obviously, these young graduates need an intensive training first in order to learn how to teach! This usually takes 2 months. The new teachers are then sent to the state owned college they were allocated to.  

This project has already been running for 3 years, and impacted more than 5'800 kids by end of 2011; the students, the teachers and the school directors are convinced this is for the best.
 
How can Léon help? Léon wishes to gather 19'000 US$ for that project and to sponsor a new teacher for 2013.
